Our Blog Facelift

Hi everybody. Our blog just got a facelift from a lady at Penny Lane Designs. I hope you like it.

The girls just had new pictures taken today! This time Jane Fritchley took the pictures. She has a more spontaneous style than the last pictures we just posted. Hadley just turned 3 months old, so we wanted to get 3-month-old pictures of her. Laney had a bit of a case of the terrible two's, so there weren't a ton of pictures. I think there are some great ones though. Hadley laid down and held her head up high to smile for the camera. I can't wait to see them; we'll post them here as soon as they're ready.

My new FAVORITE pictures

Here are some new pictures of the girls. We had them taken at Michael Gray Photography. We just love his pictures so much. He has done all of Laney's and now Miss Hadley's . He's so fun to work with. These are Laney Grace's 2 year pics and Hadley's newborn. We were just so thrilled with the outcome of these. They really do just melt our hearts. Look at those, "Brown Eyed" girls. Aren't they sweet. We are scheduled for more pictures on the 18th of this month. I'll keep you posted. It takes forever to get them back. That's the only down fall. Oh well they are sure worth the wait!

Friends, Sisters, and baby girls!

I love spending time with my sisters, bestfriends, and our baby girls. "Daisy" in this picture is only 16 days youger than Miss Hadley Claire. They are already best friends. What FUN! Smile...

We Did It!!!

We did it! Brooke and I are training for Evansvilles half marathon. We had our first warm up race this past Saturday. It was a 10k. I can't imagine running 8 more miles than we ran on Saturday. We can do it though. My little cheer leaders came to vist us after the race. Laney was saying, " I run mommy". She had a blast! She is so sweet.

Quick update

The last few weeks have been pretty interesting around here. Joey and Brooke have been training for the Evansville half marathon in October. Their workouts have gotten up to 8 miles. This morning (after yet another night of very little sleep for Joey) they ran the 10k (a little over 6 miles) at their best pace ever!

(Blake) on the other hand have been better. 2 weeks ago I was in Dallas for work and picked up a bad bug. For the last 6 days I have had a high fever up to >103. Joey has basically been doing the single mom act for 2 weeks.

Laney and Hadley are doing great! Hadley is really starting to get those cute little chubby roles in her legs (I love those), and has begun laughing, studying her surroundings, and responding in more complex ways much more now. When she smiles really big, she gets the cutest dimple too!

I'll write back with more soon, but it's late and I am typing this on an iPhone (my first time, so I am not very fast). More pics to come too.
